DHA-Procedures Manual 6025.13, "Clinical Quality Management in the Military Health System":

  • Establishes Clinical Quality Management procedures in the Military Health System to provide an organized structure for an integrated framework of programs to objectively define, measure, assure, and improve the quality of care received by MHS beneficiaries.
  • Strengthens CQM accountability, transparency, and standardization to prevent harm, promote continuous learning, and improve the quality of care and services delivered in the Military Health System.

Through CQM, the MHS affirms its unwavering commitment to quality healthcare and patient safety for beneficiaries, joint health care teams, and Combatant Commands across the globe.

This toolkit contains resources for military hospital and clinic Commanders/Directors and providers to leverage in carrying out CQM in accordance with DHA-PM 6025.13. The toolkit provides an overview of the DHA-PM, and includes materials such as infographics, briefings, and digital resources to guide implementation processes and communicate the changes.
