Noise Repository
Noise Repository (Link) - Upload or Download your high-quality, documented audio recordings for use in research studies!
The DOD Hearing Center of Excellence (HCE) noticed that researchers were either duplicating efforts or remaining consistently under-resourced
to produce research-quality sound recordings for each new study. Therefore, the HCE has sponsored the development of the Military Sounds
Repository, filled with high-quality, well-documented sound files, in order to save the research community the time and effort ($) it takes to
develop these tools on their own. Researchers can store, analyze and retrieve sounds recorded in military environments through this platform.
Target Audience:
- Audiologists who need relevant examples for patients and clients
- Users who want to compare sounds
- Individuals with military sound recordings who don’t have the ability to easily analyze the sounds
